SHOKKA9 BETA WM6.5 ROMs. (Test Version)

Well, I have not been updating this site that often due to the fact that they don't really have anymore new updates on Samsung Omnia. I am hoping that they don't scrap this project and leave us to rot when they find new toys to play with. I have some how rather found something that caught my eye and will like to share this with you guys.

It's a BETA Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM. They have two of each kind from different producing team and i will post the next one on another post.
This one here is SHOKKA9's WM6.5 Beta ROM. If you are interested, please feel free to update it to your phone. Remember, Update at your own risk.
THE UPDATER IS DESIGNED FOR USE ON XP MACHINES ONLY<>.

Download Instructions & Installation(PLEASE READ)(From SHOKKA9)

1> Download all parts of the ROM. Extract part 1 only, it will extract the other parts.
When it has extracted the ROM, install as usual.

2> When you get the ROBOT/WM6.5 screen wait for it to reboot. When it reboots it will default to Windows default home today screen. (after configuring the Omnia - obviously!!)

3> Now HARD RESET DEVICE.....

4> Repeat step 2 then move to step 5.

5> To get your MMS & Internet settings; goto Settings, Connections, Operator; select different operator to yours (any). Wait 25 secs, then goto connection settings, operator settings and select your proper operator. Your net, MMS, SMS settings will now be active. PLEASE READ: THIS IS IMPORTANT!!!!

6> To set up the black theme, change in Settings\system\today. Also you can deselect the Windows today and use M2D by selecting in the items menu. Use Classic Blue theme.

7> To get the honeycomb menu as in the pics, disable the Large menu in Settings\system\large display

8> Install Google YouTube, download attached cab and install to device memory.

9> Soft Reset after this....or after some other tweaking
